Buhari-Retains- Presidential-Seat -With -19 -State

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) just concluded the collating of presidential result that held on 23rd February 2019. The Presidential is between the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari of APC and Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of PDP.

The collation of the result that started on 24th February and ends today 26th February have retained the presidential seat for the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari till 2023.

President Muhammadu Buhari wins 19 states of the 36 states of the federation while his major rival Atiku Abubakar wins 18 state and other seventy-one contestants couldn’t win a state.

President Buhari resumes office after election break (photos)

President Buhari on Tuesday resumed office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja after returning from the presidential election break. See another photo below.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has defeated the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in Lagos State.

Buhari polled 580,825 votes to defeat his main rival, Abubakar, who had 448,015 in the state.

The result was announced by the state collation officer, Prof: F.K Salako at the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, collation center in Abuja, on Tuesday. (Click Here To See Photos)
