A 25-year-old merchant, Tasuru Abdullahi, who purportedly bit off a lady’s areola showed up in an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
The police charged Abdullahi, whose address was not given with rape and terrible mischief.
The litigant, notwithstanding, argued not liable to the charge.
The Police Prosecutor, Insp Kenrich Nomayo, said the litigant purportedly bit off Ms Nkechi Anosike’s areola and gulped it.
Nomayo told the court that the litigant submitted the offense on Aug. 22 at 2.00 p.m. on Alhaji Murhi Street in Oregun, Lagos. He affirmed the litigant likewise physically attacked the complainant.
The examiner said the supposed offense negated the arrangements of segments 245 and 263 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.
Judge Elizabeth Adeola conceded the litigant to bail in the amount of N300,000 with two guarantees in like aggregate. Adeola requested that the guarantees should be profitably utilized and have proof of two years’ expense installment to the Lagos State Government.
She suspended the case until September 15 for notice.
